Lets see, 2010 was pretty much like a roller coaster like every other year but 2010 was not the pleasant roller coaster till almost the end of it..

In 2010, I grew up, work hard, party less, and find peace within myself.

Jan ’10 I returned to work with a new title and 5 extra job scope that tag along with the title.  For the next 6 months it was only work, worK, woRK, wORK and more WORK. It was depressing to only face no ending hurdles from work and the pressure from everyone at work. But C’est La Vie so I held on and slowly adapted to the weight on my workload..

In Feb ’10, I celebrated the arrival of spring and enjoyed the shortest month of the whole year…

A simple short and sweet month of 2010 with only happy faces around me…*likes*

Comes Mar ’10, the favorite month of the year….. Had a wonderful b’day celebration with people I adore..

Spent like money was growing on trees. Had the overdue pillow talks and exchanged hugs to motivate each other to be stronger…

April ’10, my patience was put to test. A bitter month that I kept at the back of my head as a reminder to have more patience and tolerance… perseverance!!!!!!

Had a girlie weekend getaway to Kota Kinabalu in May ’10… *click* for photos of the short trip!

June came and went just like the breeze and I completed first half of 2010 without really feeling it and then along came July… Played tour guide for a friend and failed big time, tried for a debut at Eddie’s wedding and that too didn’t go too well.. LOL

Lead a group of students to Brunei and adapted the ‘geng’ culture.. Had a lot of laughter in the short 9 days to last till the end of 2010.  :)

August was a mixture of laughters and tears, a good concoction to spice up my colourful life… *stays optimistic* Went for my first so called  ’fishing’ trip and came back with—>

September ’10 was a save $$$$$ month because October ’10 was the ‘bombed’ month!!!!!

November ’10 was the month to recuperate from all traveling and waking up early every weekend of October so it went by swiftly …. So swift, I don’t know how we won the annual sports carnival hahaha

and it was also the start of  ’youtube’ season so, Yipee!! all the way till Dec ’10..

And we became Santa’s Elf–>

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Haven’t been having the urge to think, let alone write it all out on the page. Picking up on speed of the 2010 run and nearing the finishing line soon.. in a couple of months that is.

The past two weeks marked the start of my hectic last quarter of my 2010. The number of good friends getting married *peer pressure!!* means the number of hens night, dinner and trip will be on the calendar.. It would definitely be a good month ahead with the meet ups that would take place. *i have a feeling, that this months’ gonna be a good month..*

I have not been out for photos for a very long time now..contemplating if i should find time to get to it again and till then my camera will be sitting on the shelf in the bag crying to itself what horrible owner it has… LOL..

Anyway, i’m in a good mood today but bad luck too.. Half way on my drive to work I noticed i forgot my purse at home, re-route and got stuck in the jam, so late to work. Nvm that’s not the end, NO parking space because some function is going on and some BIG SHOT reserved 80% of the car park lots!!! *deep breath, cool down* I drove to the parking lot near the shop-lots.. found a spot, park my car….NO COINS!!! Nvm, there shops open to get some small change.. Insert into machine………………………………..TICKET NEVER CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @#!$#@!@!#@!$$#!~!~!!~#%$#@ WTH!!!

So there goes my RM5 la….

Parking sorted out, walked to office and my shoes are wet from the rain…. got into office hit my head almost immediately… Since then i’ve been sitting at my desk getting things done…and now its lunch time and i ordered delivery…

I’m about 12 hours till today is over…..

The year started with that new promotion aka double workload and triple stress level. It wasn’t a great first half of 2010 but somehow it’s over and things are slowly falling into places. That pile of papers now don’t look that difficult, that phone call is not my worst nightmare and those decision is now made on an average of weekly timeline.
I have never really understood the meaning of ‘everything comes with a price’ but now I have a whole new perception about it. The price for the new position is making me weigh the value on it on my resume over the heartache I have to endure. And yet I come to no conclusion!! I’m irritated by myself, by the people around me, by the people above me and just about everything that has effect on what I’m doing !!! I hate to sound like I have so much hatred over everything but yet over the pass few months, dissapointment, anger and frustrations just hit me wave after wave. *arghh*

So that’s on the professional life of mine which more a less is very frustrating but I won’t want to let it monopoly my life. So along with all the frustrations, I have managed some happy, positive side of things. I have managed some memorable trips around with fun people, had countless nights of laughter of just about every word that went around and enjoyed some alone time for deep thinking for no particular reason.

It’s now September 2010, less than 4 months before we greet 2011! So, let’s see how these few months would be. ‘hopefully eventful and colourful!!!’

So despite the unaccomplished task that i have pending, i’m still updating this page.. Be happy and leave comments.. One extra reader would motivated me into typing more… I’ve lost touch with the writing style that i used to have.. Was browsing thru my archive.. I noticed, its two years and six months old.. not bad eh.. haha but check out the frequency of my updates..   *whistling in her own thoughts*

Ok lets get down to the point here, what exactly do i want to talk bout today?

1. The weather??? Its autumn, just wet and cold all day long..

2. School?? Classes ended, dont go to campus so often now.. getting lazy (which explained the title) and turned on the hibernation mode since I came back from Prague. Was sick and stayed in the first few days, now i stay in the room all day long.. ~@$#@#! thanks to the building management turning the central heater to almost freezing warmth… Any windows or doors open might just turn the apartment into a chiller..  seriously, it is that cold.. If i cant fit my drinks into the mini bar fridge that is in my room, i just leave it outside in the balcony and it will be cold and chilly.. works well for can beers too.. haha..

3. Assignment?? Dont want to even get myself started with that.. Going round in circles working with half minded people who couldnt care less.. how frusfrating.. but NO CHOICE!!!! so i’m taking things into my own hands and barely wana touch cos i’m pissed…

4. My holidays?? most recent Prague visit but photos not ready.. by the time its ready, i might not be as hardworking to update anymore.. Oh i’m fickle minded like that…lol

5. Total random stuff..?? thats what i’m trying to do here.. cant you see it? duh…

This lazy worm that has gotten into me doesnt look like he is leaving soon.. (opps have to buckle up for 23rd presentation.. *faint*) Hibernating in your own space sometimes is kinda fun. The past one week, i did almost nth but communicating with the outside world thru my small HP Pavillion, out to the common room sometimes to stretch myself a lil, to the toilet to poo and pee and shower.. and sometimes to the kitchen to boil water for my coffee.. I’ve been reading a lot of blogs lately… and looks like a fun thing to do writing reviews for products like Follow Me, or Contest blogging.. when la i wana get my lazy ass to do that?? *wonders*

In the mean time, i’m also counting down the days till i touch down in my homeland.. the humidity.. the crowded malls.. the massive traffic every morning.. Am i ready to go bk?? erm.. Do i have a choice?? Nope…. SO… just do the counting.. and enjoy the last days here in Europe.. but how la to enjoy when the butt is sticking in the room all the time right in front of the lap top??? Will find a way to solve that.. lol

Its not even 8pm now but i’m yawning like a baby craving for milk time to go bed.. Maybe i should..i am in the hibernation mode now right?? so its practically normal to sleep as early as 8pm.. So much happenings around makes my mind stop thinking… Just need my time to digest the things thats happening around me.. So will continue my hibernation till its time to get out and play again.. when the weather turns better.. by next April maybe.. when i’m going for my island sun tan sessions again haha..

ok might be heading to bed soon.. My eyes can barely stay open for 5 minutes.. cant reach the toothpicks to keep the lids wide open haha…  So good nite people.. Please still stay tune for the supposed to be on schedule Prague post..

Cooking is already a norm to us cos we always cooked at home and have kazillion people coming zum Essen zusammen so that’s out of the question. Going out for something we all enjoy= Thai food, also something that is not so special cos we turn Thai every two weeks (at least).. Japanese cuisine, pricey and all three of us going back soon.. Could get better sushi with reasonable pricing at home.. ( seriously, I think I want to start some Asian cuisine food outlet here, damn high demand.. Let me go home and master my ‘chicken rice recipe’ first hahaha) eating in Switzerland is always a problem. Not much choices but bread, bread or more bread (which to me is superb but not to most of the people that need their rice intake)

So we think think think till both were suffering from bad hair lost, Sira came out with the idea of bringing ‘his majesty’ for some grown up dining where he would be served by hot chicks on roller blades.. Hooters!!!!
Off we went to Zurich, to the nearest Hooters we can reach.

To our disapointment, ‘the girls are only hooters grade c quality’ (direct quote by Mr. Parim) hahah but we had fun though.. Photos will follow in FB soon from Sira’s cam.

We were so excited being first timers in Hooters, we took picture of everything… and notice ‘eh the menu in German la..How come?? Isnt this an american chain??? Argh whatever just order aje… they have photos of the food on the menu…’

That’s the menu.. Obi, Micky and Parim just ordered by pointing at the girls on the menu.. *speechless*

We didn’t get much of the girls attention though with the busy Friday nite crowd but we definitely got some nice view of some butts from where we were sitting.. (the boys were facing the bar.. and the girls faced the entrance.. =with cute guys walking in throughout the nite.. lol …)

Then food started flooding the table.. Me and Sira got a lil too ambitious bout our order haha.. will understand that when you see the FB photos update later..

The 50 STUCK chicken wings that we ordered… and had to go on eating competition to finish it… (I ATE 9 , MORE THAN SIRA!!!! YEAYYY!!!)

Generally food was ok.. So so.. nothing to shout about though.. but the companion that were around made the dinner together so much fun.. With Parim forever cracking up silly jokes whole nite, my cheeks were numb from just laughing..

After sitting around occupying the table for a long time, waiting for the waitress to come by so ‘My Royal Birthday Boy’ could take a photo with her..  (A prove of a grown up BOY in a grown up restaurant!!! lol)

Later we proceed to catching a tram to Bahnhof and missed the train back to Luzern by 1minute. Had to wait for another 30 minutes for the next train which also meant we were to spend more time with our duo jokers, Micky and Parim. Playing tour guide, took posers photos and also did live lion dance performance in the middle of the alley of ZURICH BAHNHOF… OMG it was hilarious…  by the time we board the train —->

My battery were only running low but was still very awake cause of the two glasses of Coke…

Just came back from a weekend away in Prague (which was really good.. will save it for the next post), came back with flu and two very heroic heroes wanted to go for autumn compilation before all the trees go bald.. lol… SO with my nose running around, I joined them for a few hours in the cold doing silly, funny stuff that only god knows who started it..

Tadaa.. the pretty golden path just outside the door step… Totally in love with it…

Sudden urge of being home.. With everything that is happening around here OMG so much negativity!!!

Trying to maintain my optimism but its not easy. (Est, I want to meletup seriously!!)

I’ve stopped believing that there will be someone there to catch me when I fall… Yes, I am that upset!! The negativity that us surrounding me is drowning me.. Oh gosh I never like this feeling.. The last time I felt so lost, I had Kevin talking to me the whole night and that was many centuries ago… In need of one of those session… Being so far from everyone I can trust is frustrating… ARGHHHH!!

Just have to let it out.. with a heavy sigh and will remind myself again, over and over again… I need to keep my head high and move along.. Its gonna be okay.. Things will fall into place… Have faith!!!

So browsing and browsing the world wide web that I can find anything, I came across an organization’s website about educating the young and motivating them to create a better future. —> *click* AND there are this option (if you are somewhere in the teaching line) that you can sign up for a *FREE* Tutor’s Kit. As I went reading more about this organization, I’ve learned that they are a funded organization, (that is the explanation to the *free* kits) strive to create a better living by spreading the words of happy living.  Basically its all common sense which are normally kept aside in our daily routine. So I signed up for the free kit, half expecting the free kit would arrive but not high hopes though. Little did I expect that I would get any reply from them too

Guess what was in my mail box yesterday??? TWO parcel, yes 2 boxes for my collection in the reception.. I was so happy thinking someone send me two boxes of goodies from home especially the festive season just went by (dream on baby!!) When I saw the stamp, it was from the States.. Lagi tak mungkin my kuih raya coming from US rite?? Only when I saw the company logo by the corner of the boxes, I realized it would be the teaching material that I’ve sign up for. Even though its not ‘kuih raya’ but the feeling when you have got a mail is still good..

In the two boxes received, one is with 23 pieces of posters with gentle reminders what we should be doing to make the best out of the days we are living with the main objective of creating positive environment. The other box  came with a tutor’s starter guide book with breakdown how to motivate youth to move towards the positive directions, DVD for visual aids, mini booklets that could be distributed out and more forms to fill up if ever I need more free mini booklets to be distributed out…

I went through briefly the items especially the content of the booklets and most of the content are really common sense lines that we are all aware off but never really would put further thoughts to it. Example:

1. Take care of yourself!

2. Be temperate

3. Set a good example

4. Seek to live with the truth.

5. Be worthy of trust.

etc etc….

Every line will be followed by lines of examples and further explanations which are easily understandable..

I came home and spread the love and happiness to my fellow mates ahaha.. and these are a bunch of happy people now as always lol..

I really felt that there should be more of these kind of organizations around to help the ‘youth’ these days. Going back into the study life, I’ve met countless ‘lost’ people with lotsa hatred to the world, to others and maybe to themselves too.. Where is the study environment that used to be so carefree and fun? Where is those happy faces when its holidays? Where did all the manners parents taught us when we were younger? Where is all the healthy competition shit that teachers used to drill into our heads (which makes sense to me now finally)?  Seriously, being around these people are depressing..

One of the lines that i Like the most in those mini booklets —> Why I Gave You This Book?? Your Survival is Important to ME!!

Very true, no one can stay alive ALONE and when you have to depend on your surroundings and people around you, it would be important to be in a happy , healthy and positive environment.. So people BE HAPPY or come see me for the guide book.. ‘Ways To Happiness!!’

Since I have so many things that happened over the past few weeks, i would just summarize everything.. (photo updates please go check FB.. felt its double work to be posting lotsa photos that people have seen already)

Hmm.. Lets start with exams’ week. Completed three papers in the spread of three working days excluding the weekends… Hopefully results would be ok. haha.. Didn’t want to waste the already short term break, I flew to Norway the night after my last paper. Was my first time to Norway and also the first time I did not do any research about the city that I was visiting. Thought Mr. Tall would be there to be the tour guide (which he did) and all the studying for exam paper just left no extra space in the mind for holiday notes.. haha

Off I went to this foreign land where I knew 1 person out of the whole population.. Reaching bout 10-ish 11pm didn’t worry me because I was told the Express to the city only takes 20 minutes and last train leaves past midnight. Happily I went on the train ride looking forward to see Mr. Tall in the train station as arranged earlier but but but the nature of the industry we are in just likes surprises. Work took longer than expected and I was waiting in the station like some clueless lost kid with no sense of directions and bearing… It was cold and dark outside, the station has so many exits. I was instructed to wait at where i got down from the train and he will FIND me… sounds like its a big place that I might get lost. So I sat and read the novel i brought along till he sneak out from work to get me (Which was like three minutes walking distance) I could have managed to get there myself if i were slightly more into getting to know the basic directions haha… For once I was a lil scared waiting alone… Learned my lesson.. hehe…

The following days spend in the humble city of Oslo was superb. The city gives a warm impression and I would say its a nice city to live in. Its a city but practiced quality lifestyle (through my observation that is) Did my sight seeing, and met new friends that further extend their Norwegian hospitality to the small Asian girl. Overall, it was a good trip on my mid sem break. Two albums of filtered photos already in uploaded in FB , so go check there and i will only put up a few that I like here—>

The short one week was a good getaway from my daily stress from school.. Enjoyed it very much..–> Thanks to my awesome host, Mr. Tall.

So that was the first trip out of Switzerland. I came back for a week of classes and off again to the Queen’s Land, where I have expected to be drinking English tea everyday but my oh my how wrong I was.. I was fed with Chinese , Korean , Japanese, Malaysian cuisines throughout my stay.. And I felt like I was back in Petaling Street when I was in China Town.

The main purpose of the visit was to meet up my ex classmates who were there for many years now (damn that sounds old).. Managed to get  a good flight price but the timing was rather short though.. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself so much and am very happy seeing the faces that I’ve not seen in years after college days… Not so much of sight seeing and my biggest regret was not able to manage the time and visit Madame Tussauds..  Again, photos were uploaded in FB—> *click* so here are the few highlighted ones—>
