It was my ‘Royal Highness’s Birthday’ on the 5th November.. He has been complaining that I am the heartless AA cos don’t remember his birthday which was the same number as mine.. Me and Sira were cracking our heads to do something special for him..

Cooking is already a norm to us cos we always cooked at home and have kazillion people coming zum Essen zusammen so that’s out of the question. Going out for something we all enjoy= Thai food, also something that is not so special cos we turn Thai every two weeks (at least).. Japanese cuisine, pricey and all three of us going back soon.. Could get better sushi with reasonable pricing at home.. ( seriously, I think I want to start some Asian cuisine food outlet here, damn high demand.. Let me go home and master my ‘chicken rice recipe’ first hahaha) eating in Switzerland is always a problem. Not much choices but bread, bread or more bread (which to me is superb but not to most of the people that need their rice intake)

So we think think think till both were suffering from bad hair lost, Sira came out with the idea of bringing ‘his majesty’ for some grown up dining where he would be served by hot chicks on roller blades.. Hooters!!!!
Off we went to Zurich, to the nearest Hooters we can reach.

To our disapointment, ‘the girls are only hooters grade c quality’ (direct quote by Mr. Parim) hahah but we had fun though.. Photos will follow in FB soon from Sira’s cam.

We were so excited being first timers in Hooters, we took picture of everything… and notice ‘eh the menu in German la..How come?? Isnt this an american chain??? Argh whatever just order aje… they have photos of the food on the menu…’

That’s the menu.. Obi, Micky and Parim just ordered by pointing at the girls on the menu.. *speechless*

We didn’t get much of the girls attention though with the busy Friday nite crowd but we definitely got some nice view of some butts from where we were sitting.. (the boys were facing the bar.. and the girls faced the entrance.. =with cute guys walking in throughout the nite.. lol …)

Asians have to take photos of everything..

from every angle if possible…

and different faces of course…

Then food started flooding the table.. Me and Sira got a lil too ambitious bout our order haha.. will understand that when you see the FB photos update later..

The 50 STUCK chicken wings that we ordered… and had to go on eating competition to finish it… (I ATE 9 , MORE THAN SIRA!!!! YEAYYY!!!)

Generally food was ok.. So so.. nothing to shout about though.. but the companion that were around made the dinner together so much fun.. With Parim forever cracking up silly jokes whole nite, my cheeks were numb from just laughing..

After sitting around occupying the table for a long time, waiting for the waitress to come by so ‘My Royal Birthday Boy’ could take a photo with her..  (A prove of a grown up BOY in a grown up restaurant!!! lol)

Later we proceed to catching a tram to Bahnhof and missed the train back to Luzern by 1minute. Had to wait for another 30 minutes for the next train which also meant we were to spend more time with our duo jokers, Micky and Parim. Playing tour guide, took posers photos and also did live lion dance performance in the middle of the alley of ZURICH BAHNHOF… OMG it was hilarious…  by the time we board the train —->

Tewas straight…

My battery were only running low but was still very awake cause of the two glasses of Coke…

& The lovebirds, —>

Was a fun nite definitely.. Will miss these people when I go home next month..

Stay tune for Prague updates…

Signing off with ♥,

OK Bai!!!

Hello people, Gruezi!!

It has been almost 3 weeks back here in Luzern and classes started last Monday. And best thing is I have finished at least 2 presentation and formed 3 different groupings and had already group discussions together with some disagreement at the begining. In all there have been work and hard work and harder work along the way but thats not all because i didn’t forget to have fun at the same time.

This time round, i return as a half student half working adult mind. I would say it is somehow easier for me to digest the stuff in the 4, FOUR hours straight of lectures. :) But somehow a lil weird to be having people addressing me ‘Ms. Wong’ but I introduce myself as ‘Shin’ to new faces. Thats is something i’m still adjusting. Oh that would lead me to last Friday, it was the first Friday night since classes started and almost the whole population of IMI planned to head down to ‘Opera’ a local club. Initially I didn’t intend to join the clubbing session and was in zurich after class. Linardy was off and it was CRAZY SALES in Zurich. (shall get back to the sales craze later). So i got home slowly, no hurry and was demanded to get changed and get going. So low and behold i was in and out of the house joining the crowd and end up getting home around 5.30am. It was 23 1/2 hours staying awake. I have long stopped doing that ever since I started working. It felt so good to be like some energized bunny again. Partying with people that was once my students was also something quite exciting.

Ok now some pictures to not bored you guys to death. (Cryst: this is for you.. me still alive)

And Aiman, my financial controller, and my hang out space provide..

Weather here is like ‘harga saham’. fluctuates like crazy!!  One day rain with thunder and lightning, the next could be all bright and sunny and the next day could be cloudy and cold like its autumm already. And it changes everyday. Drives me nuts to think about what to wear to school to keep myself warm enough or not too much(I’m staying off campus this time and it takes  about half an hour travelling time everyday, changing bus and carrying laptop bag, handbag and sometimes umbrella is not too convenient. What is going to happened when the snowing starts??) Everyday, i have to go thru this ===>

IMG_1233

Bus Schedules… and FEW of ‘em. Will be able to memorized it by the end of the semester.

Mentioned bout my housemates, and below are just a few of some silly stuff we do when we are free.

IMG_1235

Thats Sneha from India—> Dress up in some kinda dress, then start putting on pegs on the face. I don’t know why she did it but she did it and asked us to take photos.

IMG_1237

Thats Itzel from Mexico —> Joining the photo session while we are actually sorting things out.  Started so randomly with one doing silly stuff and it slowly linked up to the rest.

IMG_1238

And then you have me.. joining.. (There were other stuff we did that was not captured like suddenly turning on some Bollywood music and start dancing..Or start playing ‘KABADEE’..Or just start laughing for no reason..)

Ok for now.. A birthday party goin on in the living room so i shall go join the crowd….

Ok Baii for now..

Signing off with huggies!!

Woohoo… Its my third day back in the beautiful town and it felt like I’m back home. Felt so good to be back and to top that up, ITS CRAZEEE SALEEES time. So many things, so much discount but so little $$. I havent start growing money tree on my balcony. LOL

Hmm a little update about my current place. Checked into a single room with lake view top floor ‘what more can i ask for’ Fully equipped apartment with two bathroom. Cool housemates so far. 3 rooms still unoccupied. Big spacious common area with boxes and boxes of my housemates stuff.. Looks like 8 person’s stuff but in fact its only for ONE. I dunno how to start clearing or where to start. Eventually it will dissapear when PA marks starts running haha.. As off now, internet connection is not sucky. FB the utmost important daily duty.

Went off shopping for some NECESSITY for the room and myself and ended up with some shower gel, some food, 3 bags and 2 pairs of shoes. Kill me already. Its only how many days again?? Gosh I’m officially starting to hate going to town or walking thru old town or even the train station. Shessh..

Activated my sim, which was given to me by a kind cutie pie. Topped up and found out it cost 1CHF for 5 minutes call bk home and 0.09CHF for calls to the same network. Hmm quite cool rite. Wanted to try out the rates but noonw back home picked up my calls.

Met some cool people and went to the airport the second day of my arrival to send off a friend. Crazy isn’t it? Lend my SDcard to the friend so i have no pictures of the day to upload and show off here. She will be bk in a month and hoping the photos will appear in FB before that.

Thinks Swiss regulations are bias cos they say i’m OLD!! and starting to hate the number already. Found out few hours ago, my room number is the number i hate. Application for ‘young independent traveller’s card’ rejected.. *hate hate hate*

Making plans to meet old friends and still in search for MARCEL AKMAL.lost his contact number together with my old phone and he would hate me if i came back and didnt call. Anyone with his mobile num please let me know.

Dont know what i’m posting up now cos everything is so random and i’m still very excited to be back. Can’t believe next monday i have to be back in school.. Felt young again.

Till the pictures arrive. Tchuss!!!

Ok Bai

After a long week of stress and sweat, its time to sit back and relax. I have cryst’s photos pending and my trip photos pending but I just wana have a weekend with nothing to do and just relax.

The past week was havoc! Had our annual event and gosh the mess I tell you. Now i know why my teachers hated canteen days in my high school years. :) There were about 25 booths set up for competition last Thursday. They whipped up their own menus and god only knows how did they managed to prepare everything. (gosh I dont wana touch on the preparation methods they used… eeiiiww) From Monday, there were alot of things to finalized and reconfirm and re reconfirm again over and over again. Space for last minute changes were always there. And managing this whole thing with the help of 6 people was really hectic. *thank god its over*

Wed was prep day and every individual class came in to set up their booth, preparing for war on the next day. Tables all arranged properly for all but these people are so competitive and everyone wanted the best location and best customer feng shui, they changed here and there the direction and initial set up. One blocking another, what will happen?? Need i say more?? So I had to run around like a headless chicken settling all this issues. My own class was left unsupervised and others took advantage of this and at the end of the day, my class was pushed to a corner where noone can see us… Like that how to win best sales man???? sheshhhh….

Wednesday nite, four of my girls stayed over to do some prep. Slept for less than 2 hours and was at college by 6.15am on Thursday morning.

Had a tiring day but really enjoyable one too.. The happiest moment was to see more than half of my students working together, breaking walls and barriers to reach the same objective. Saw some really quiet ones taking charge of things and making sure everything was sailing smoothly. And saw my class rep goin crazy was also funny..

I guess now its the post food fest sympton, must rest and recuperate. Now let me go finish my novel then i should be all geared up for the next 6 weeks..hehe

Ok bai!!

The first time when i announce my work position to my friends, they were in the ‘aww’ , ‘OMG’ and the ‘Are you serious?’ tones. And then i question myself, would this be the right choice of line. A close friend then asked me, ‘Are you gonna just stay put and work? I thought you would be in those line that would require you to travel half the month to some place half way round the globe.’ My answers back then was simple, I wanted to travel but I have to start some where with my career line and its not easy to find a traveling position. The only official one that i know is waitressing in the air and i was not about to throw my hard earned certificate away.

Well little did i know when i accepted the offer, that my work scope ’sometimes’ allows me to travel. I can say I’m pretty lucky to get to a few places along the way after my acceptance of this position. :) Some times it maybe local places but certain times I get to fly further and more than 2 hours.

This time round, I was arranged to accommodate 60 plus students on an International Tourism Trip to Macau and GuangZhou. I don’t have to do much though, the class organizing committee were pretty efficient in getting things in place. (well they have been planning for this since the beginning of the year!) All together there were three of us accompanying this trip to oversee 20 odd students each group. It was an educational trip, exposure and learning outcomes are highlighted. (subject based)

So we left for our first stop, Macau early Wednesday morning with a series of drama to follow till the day we got back. We were to meet up at 4am ..4 freaking AM when its the best time to stay in the comfy blanky. (don’t be surprise for thousand of photos up next)

(Everyone half awake but excited)

(This bunch were the camwhoring boys all the way)

We got to the airport more than 2 hours ahead of time (bout 5plus and flight is ’scheduled’ to be 8AM.) And upon reaching, like 100meters before drop off point in LCCT, our tour guide got a sms saying the flight delayed till 11AM. Shesshhhhhh.. but we proceed to checking in anyways.

And at the check in counter, the kind lady told us ‘NO DELAY’ and everyone went..’YEEHHAAAA’ and tried to check in as fast as possible cos McD in LCCT tasted better than any other outlet la konon-nya.

It took about 1hour to be done with everyone in line and short briefing on instructions on boarding time and before we turn around to have a head count, everyone went missing. (so much fun goin for trips ya) I went to McD and saw half of the college there, some already eating, some still queing, some just  standing thinking if they should be ordering anything.

After the trouble of chasing the little chickens like a mother hen to the boarding area, we finally heard the stupid announcement saying our flight was indeed delayed till 11AM but the blardy notice board still shows, ETD 8AM. But on a happy note, LCCT is now much cleaner and nicer than the old ‘container’ style low cost terminal.

Waited and waited and waiting still they announced, its further delayed to 11AM.. and at 11AM they announce ‘ Attention to all passengers flight AK smth smth, please proceed to the boarding gate,  TO GET REFRESHMENT’ What the hell, I thought we are taking off at 11.  Once ‘refreshment’ were distributed out, they made another announcement to further delay till12PM. Everyone was like@#@!$!@#@!#@!$#~@~~ but its beyond our control.

We finally board and flew off at 12.45PM and guess whats the reason of the delay? ? Toilet overflow or cant flush or smth was just wrong with the WCs.

img_0089

And finally we are near Macau.

img_0092

(the plane with the kaput-ed toilet)

Went thru immigration with more dramas (shall leave it for another post) then boarded the bus and headed to Wynn Hotel as the staff were still waiting patiently for us after such delay.

(and a tower that looks like KL tower)

And reached Wynn had a long presentation with great information about the hotel and by the time we finished, the sun was no where to be seen. And everyone was dying of hunger which very much forced us to proceed to dinner in some restaurant and rescheduled all sight seeing plans to the next day.

This is part 1. More to come in the next few days and i’m rushing for class now.

Ok Bai!!
