Felt like its only yestermonth that i’ve celebrated my birthday in Falken Hotel in my bunny costume with Eba & Esther..BUT BUT BUT just a few days ago, it was my DAY again. It does state something rite? (e.g i’m getting fatter, getting lazier, and of course getting older) To many gurls getting older means aging and it also mean ‘need- more- conceller’ to create miracles or in another way hide from reality. Well to me its just another year that went by. Not saying that cosmetic is only meant to hide as we know cosmetic is used to beautify.. (define beautify–> go find out urself heh)

SO on the 5th March, i officially turns 20smth la.. This year i have Esther comin all the way from S’pore to have an early birthday celebration.. {so sweett} She bought me a very nice figuring that can be used as accessories display rack.

Spent the weekend with Esther meeting friends and also dragged Esther to MY friend’s wedding dinner on Sat nite. Overall weekend activities was great. Happy to see her and really dreaded both of us when its departure time.. Hope to see u real soon!!

Second celebration ( with a real cake) was with my family..mom was in cousin’s sis place and they bought me a Secret Recipe’s Tiramitsu.. YUMMY~~

phewwwww.. i figured out something that work out to not let my blog drift to isolation. bring my laptop to office and upload, so so much work jus to maintain my blog.

i collected my camera bk few weeks ago and now its all well n kicking. *happiness* i guess this post would be updates about all the outdated events that were supposed to be blogged on ages ago.hehe

some years ago, i met up with lek to go shopping in Bangsar. camwhore like noone business but who cares thats what gurls does when there is a get together. most of the pictures were up in the multiply after that outing but mine is only now. pity me.. well let the photos tell the rest bout the shopping spree.. it was jus ‘super-cali-bangsar-licious’

so that was before X-mas and new year. Last year celebration was nth extravaganza to me. jus hung out in the curve for all occasions till i’m now with the nick of ‘ms curve’. so for christmas, everyone was telling me there will be fireworks in the curve so swoosh.. everyone gather up in the curve infront of cineleisure waiting patiently for the fireworks. the weird thing about the whole time was everyone in the same place but actually they are all in different time zone as there were 5 to 6 times of count down. only god knows whose was the right time.

again i should let the photos do all the talking. had a great time hanging out with friends.

Next will be the new year celebrations. where i went?? THE CURVE again of course since its the nearest place to where i’m staying and so much goin on there.. hehe.. had dinner in Ikea with Devil & Keat, the meatballs..yummylicous!!

later that evening the whole gang came so we chatted, camwhore and watch fireworks.

Okay okay last part of my Vietnam trip are gonna be up now. Sorry for the ‘LONG’ delay, dont wana start my excuses here as i will go on forever.

So, after the night stay in Tung Jiu Island which was more like a L@# J@#%! Island to us, We head back to Hanoi. Just to prove how ‘interesting’ was that place, here are the list of ALL the activities available.

Thats all they have there so think again if any of u are planning to visit okaii.. Luckily we met these people that made our stay a lil worthwhile..

If not really can die of sien-ness. and all photos at least turn out acceptable cos of the beautiful blue sky.

Its was a long bumpy ride all the way back and adding to the bumpiness is the air-condition-less bus..Super frustrating!Adding to all the geram-ness, the bus driver refused to send us back to our hotel and everyone were asked to ‘walk’ back. Luckily he drop us off not really far from the hotel and we recognised the route back to our hotel if not we might be still stranded in the middle of no where.

Okay the highlight of the last part is the so called farewell party we had (only four of us la) and so happened that Esther’s and Minh’s birthday were jus round the corner so Minh specially ordered a Sheraton Super Fattening Chocolate Cake.

Chocolate coated, chocolate filling, chocolate decoration.. all choco….INDULGENCE… but too bad i’m not a choco fan. We all stuffed ourself so much during dinner time we have to wait till our food a re alil bit digested before we start sapu-ing the cake and what else to do in the hotel room but to take crazy snaps????

So there goes the second last day of our trip. The last day before departure was the saddest day, time to bid farewell and do some last minute shopping and all the hugging sessions made the cry baby cried la of course..

The trip to Hanoi gave me a chance to see and feel the different culture of the locals. I’m really fascinated by the way of living and the strong bond among Vietnamese. They are always willing to help each other out with all that they can. I bet its hard to find friends like that in our community. I’m not saying its immpossible but its hard. I really felt blessed to have known these great friends…–>

Next on will be the horny frog that is far away from home now. (everyone is missing u kev) This guy is really good with his words can melt anyones heart weh.. Its not a big suprise that he is one of the heart throb in college days. The person that gave me the nickname ‘miss cry-baby’ and also the only person that chat with me in hokkien. Cute rite??

Funny guy that everyone would enjoy having him around. ‘Chi Bai Kev’ (as in Chinese and Bai okai.. now dont go thinkin too far kay!)

The first stranger that shared the same room with me during my early years in college. The fact that we stayed in the same house, same room but different bed, this gurl knows hell lots of things bout me..{sheeshhhhh dont tell anyone k.} The rainy nights when its hard for me to sleep alone, there are always extra space for me on her bed. She is one beauty queen that knows the latest fashion to make up stuff. Ask her bout which shade of eye shadow should you get this season, be it from Estee Lauder or Shiseido she will giv u an answer.

If i ever support Arsenal, This guy i’m about to mention will never talk to me again or be my ‘dear’ anymore. Die hard fan of Manchester United and a good friend that is willing to sacrifice his rest hours to accompany his friends.

Another person that i’m super comfortable around is…The Blacky Son…He is such a bubbly person and its really fun to hang out with him..(Son, i really miss those movies session every weekend)

Hmm i still have a very long list of people to go but how to finish la rite?? so i shall end with one more person that i really cherish.

This person shares my ups and downs. On rainy days or sunny days he will be around. Always treat me like a princess and brought laughters to me.

Our initial itinerary was only to Halong Bay and Catba Island with one night in a hotel in Catba and another night on a boat in Halong Bay. But when we got to know a few other gurls and bonded almost immediately we decided to change (We actually got conned) to spend a night in Tung Jiu island and gav up the night on the boat.

Here are more photos from the trip, and how we got conned.

Upon reaching Halong Bay, we had our lunch on the boat and both me n Esther were seated with three other gurls. Two Thais and a Vietnamese. As five of us were the only “X generation” people its natural for us to befriend easily. Andy persuaded us to change our itinerary so we could click together the entire trip. So we discussed bout it and said we will decide by the end of the day.

Later in the evening when the sun sets. the scenery is jus undescribeable splendid.

Reach Catba in the evening and we were left for free and easy time till the nex morning. Went for a swim in the beach nearby but din bring along the camera. Then later at nite we went yumcha.

Yumcha also meant ‘YumChao’ (alchohol session) in Vietnam. The Hanoi beer is nice and esther got addicted to it. Imagine….

Next morning after breakfast, off again on the boat to Tung Jiu island.

This time the boat cruised slowly and stopped at one place and let us jump into the sea for a swim..or some just like lazing on board.

I for one, sure go swim la..even though deep deep water.. simply jump in.. hehehe..

Those ang mo guys jumped from the third deck whereby i only jumped from the first deck and took bout 5 minutes to overcome the fear of jumping.

After that, we were sent to this isolated island with noone but us in this building middle of nowhere.

Thats Tung Jiu Island…….. Total dissapointment so jus rest and relax the whole day.

They hav this area where people have to pay to enter and pay for every other thing they provide. They have dolphin show, crocodile farm and musical fountain. Thats the main attraction la konon. Then there is this beach area where you have to pay for even sitting and sunbathin.. Gosh i hate that place. Swimming area is even smaller than the kids wading pool…GERAM NESSSSS…

Luckily they didnt charged us for taking photos…
