A couple of nites ago, there was a MINI reunion with few of my ex college mates which also happens to be the ‘finalist of Mr. & Miss KDU’ *woot*

Cryst of course was faster in updating and i will just link it here —> *Click* and i’m also gonna curi her photos cos i was camera-less that nite. It might take centuries till i get hold of the photos from Justin and Yunny.

These two adventurous people is having a blast really. Traveling half way round the globe to chase dreams that seems impossible for others. A spirit i admired so much. Its been a long long time since the last time i saw them what more sit down nicely and have a long chat. It was a night full of gossips (as usual) and updates of life from each other.

It was really shocking how we can still be as crazy as how we used to be when we were in college years. We conquered the whole section and had the waiters and waitresses turn of some lights and started cleaning the floor before we finally stood up and chao. (they must be cursing whole nite with the amount of noise jus the four of us could generate)
We (missing Fong) were the proud few to be representatives of the faculty for the annual *leng chai leng lui* contest (MDG outbeat us la now) Its not easy to have so many to come from the same school and even harder to get so many from the same class *ahem lots of potential people from my class kan?* We had our happy times, our shopping times and also our teary times together and thats how we bonded.

Lets recall, Justin was and still is the most adventurous one. Yunny being the soft spoken one. Cryst was always the creative one. And me the forever noisy one. It was like yesteryear we went thru all the hassle to get things ready as we were first years students and very semangat la konon. ( we were all conned into it and missed out first semester break, damn..) Meeting up with these people reminds me of my years in college (cheh sound so old) how much fun we can create out of thin air. Definitely missing every bit of it.

Never ever thought the little soft spoken Yunny would be in the body combat thingy but yes she is now a qualified instructor.. so yeng.. and on top of that she is leaving for OXFORD ok.. me one damn proud frien i tell you…

And Justin, leading a very colourful and adventurous life in London. His traveling routine is something i would always envy. The passion to travel and to try out everything i really admire.One hell of a down to earth guy.

All the best mates!!! Come back often ok.. really only minority left in KL..

ps: Ivan, if you are reading this, please dont take Cryst away from me k.. Please spare us another 5 or 10 years to go shopping in Bangsar alot of weekends before u kidnap her to Kuantan.. *wink wink*

Blogging used to be a routine so that people can know whats happening around me when I’m far away. It turns slow… slower… and almost dying.. All this delaying is because of lame excuses like busy, no time and not really in the mood.. but i guess, at some point i dont see a point of putting things up when you question the purpose and consequences ..But a big draw out would be the lame internet connection at home that just settled in. And all the excuses piled up a mountain high i dont even know what to blog about or where to start and which event out of so many i should be focusing on.

Well i’m trying my best to sit to blog at least once a week but even that is so much of a difficult task.. isk isk.. Nth i could say to be exact but here is the recap for the happenings last two months i guess. Lets hope i get a little diligent and would be disciplined and also motivated enough to be updating frequently.. Cryst, Est & Lek are my motivation caused they damn rajin updating all the time..

So i’m hoping to get back into the blogging mode again..need motivation, not complaints ok people. I shall start with a full of photos recap to lessen the mountain high back dated piles of events that took place. (I shall just forget about those small mini mini stuff)

Reading Est & Lek’s updates, they always have smth happening with their colleagues made me think of how happening my own work place is. Well not that bad that till we only come to work and off we go. Every month we have staff’s birthday celebration, a get together session and also a ponteng/curi tulang broad daylight.

So far i only brought my camera out once during the celebration days (and for my own month, i didnt snap.. )

My friends and I recently came across this topic about Pedicure and Fish Spa. Its really very subjective to conclude which is better than the other. I believe both contribute to a certain positivity. Winnie’s birthday simple lunch meet up.

Simple isnt it? Our table was filled with FOOD!!

I sacrificed half day leave to make this gurl happy. We went to Kura, in One World Hotel for lunch. I rushed my daily tasks and joined Winnie and CCL for this scrumptious meal.

Its a hearty meal but only three of us.. really miss the time when we used to celebrate with that group of friends who are now all in SINGAPORE (and now Winnie oso leaving.. *sob sob*)

No cake for her but i bought her a ? bag as pressie. Nice?? Pretty similar to the one she chose for me on my birthday haha..

Thats the once awhile short lunch meet up that we can afford out of our Stressful & Busy schedule.. haha.. damn pathetic right???

As per mentioned earlier, my job created opportunity for me to meet great people but also every few months, it would be emotional time cos have to bid farewell to graduating students. Everytime you know them better, thats the time they would be waving bye bye and saying ‘ I’m stepping into another level in my life.’

This semester i went to my first Farewell dinner of the year, CULA 7. This class i could remember the sweet girl, Stella who always around the photocopy machine in the office. The very small class and friendly people. The time here and there we would bump into the others around college and exchange nods and smiles. And now they are all off into the industry..

KDU 25th Anniversary- In conjunction of the 25th anniversary celebration, this year our annual dinner was held in One World Hotel (mentioning OWH twice dy, like no other place to go rite??) and the theme of the night is VIVA SILVER. Well we are to dress up as silverish as possible but not many actually understood the colour. Silver is not a normal colour i would wear or have in my wardrobe. Searching for a decent enough dress was pretty difficult and much to my disappointment, many didnt even bother to follow the theme.. Where la the team effort?? @!#!~!@~

I was seated together with all the bosses of my department and being one of the naughty ones its not easy to pass the two hour event okay.. and all the time my camera was nicely seated in my ’silver’ clutch. No Pictures from Annual Dinner?? I dont know what to say to myself.

Only managed to snap 4 pics at the end of the night before we departed to Long Bar. Out of 4, 3 was taken with Don same place and time just different brightness and clarity. Duh…

The best out of 3.. which is still not good… haih…

Don got a coffee machine from Lucky draw. Everyone of us got this photo album as door gifts. We were each given a box with an album inside with an individual photo but you wont get your own photo unless you are damn lucky. In order to get yours, everyone was asked to run around the ballroom doing ’system-barter’. Well a good ice breaker i would say..

Thats all.. phew.. i’m tidying up so that i can start on the past long ago S’pore Trip. hhaha..

Ade!!!

As stated in the previous post, together with Cryst, we went for an outdoor shoot with a few photographers. Nice kan can get to know photographers as friends?? The theme was White Devil aka Black Seraph so we dressed up all white and all black. I got to be the black one of course cos Cryst’s look always super sweet, without sugar oso can kena diabetes.

We started very very early, despite of the not enough sleep the night before. Was to gather in McD TheCurve at 7am for breakfast but but but…. we dress

how la to go out to the public??? So we sat in the car with a camera each in hand… That spells C.A.M.W.H.O.R.E. T.I.M.E.

Well after photographers were done with their nice McD Breakfast which we smartly skipped, we drove six cars in a row to an isolated no man land for our photography session. (actually its jus by some roadside near Ara Damansara)

Started with casual walk-stop-snap with Cryst..and see what happened to mine —>

Then we did some sitting by the roadside shots and i have this as my best shot..

Then while they were checking the photos…I got two seconds on my own, i ended up jumping la.. hopping la.. dancing with the umbrella la.. till they hav to take it away…  and we–>

Did some real serious shots… and Cryst on the other hand was complaining of the burning temperature, started flipping her dress, they got a ‘Marilyn Monroe’ shot.–>

So professional la…

Phew.. Just finished the 12 WEEKS recap and now with much DETERMINATION… I would continue to keep you guys updated. *fingers crossed*

Well this is a seconded post as Cryst posted up before me. The Sleepover Weekend or can also be The Total Camwhore Weekend. Whichever rings your bell ok.

As MOST of OUR FRIENDS ventured to SINGAPORE leaving the two miserable back here in isolated KL, we have no choice but to meet up occasionally and make each other happy somehow.. (aiyah.. not like some ppl in SINGAPORE always can meet up and go SHOPPING la…*jeles jeles*)

We normally meet up on weekends to catch up and most importantly, SHOP, that’s why after every outing we would stay home and eat roti for a week. Last weekend was nothing extra ordinary except we had this BIG BIG photoshoot the next morning which leads to Cryst sleeping over in my place.

Cryst brave through the routes that she never remembered travelling to reach my residence to pick me and off we go. (btw I stay near where we used to study and she told me ‘I dunnoo laaaaaa.. WHERE???’ pengsan-ness)

First destination, The Curve to visit the Flea Market that we didn’t managed to visit the last trip we went. Happily we walk and spend money like noone’s business. After hours or walking round and round under the hot sun, we then decided to go over One Utama as she need to COD smth.

The photo tells everything.. we went in to shops and tried dresses, tops, pants, short & whatever that caught our attention but ended up not buying anything cos all sizes either too big or too small.

Saddened by the truth we didn’t get any clothing we proceed to footwear shopping. And less than an hour later, we were both carrying two boxes of new heels and sandals each. *faint*

And then we remembered we were not utilizing our cameras that much. Cryst with her ‘bedazzled’ snap snap everywhere and we went to the place we like the most… LADIES where the lighting are always superb. I sometimes wonder why..

Comparing the lighting??Toilets always better okaiiiii…. (check out my siao siao while waiting for Cryst in the fitting room?? speechless rite?? me too…)

Then we continue walking till our ‘knight in shining armor’, Ram called up to remind us of the meet up later that night. Check our watches, nope not enough time to go home and try on the new dress and so we went straight AGAIN to The Curve to meet up with the rest.

Met up with our ex college mates. Had a drink (ice lemon teas, ice mocha latte, lime juice & etc) strictly no alcohol which was very weird with these people. Then we knew that these ppl all ‘trying’ to quit drinking <say only, nex round straight to Scarlet.. speechless>

By the time we finished yakking and yakking for hours, it was nearly 12am and so we rushed home to get our beauty sleep for our nex day. But but but.. we dont do this ’sleepover’ that often so we talked talked talked till kingdom almost came. I passed my bedtime and too ‘kan cheong’ mayb, ended up watching that siao po sleeping soundly..*isk isk*

25th June - The day Ai June gets her pressie and greetings everyyearis now also a day for Keet Wan and hubby to celebrate their Anniversary. Among all my friends from high school, Keet Wan is the first one to move on to the next level in life.

Their simple wedding dinner was held in Tsui Village in Low Yat Plaza. The newly wed was smiling from ear to ear the whole nite. Only a table of us managed to turn up and it was more like a small gathering for 4M class of 2000. It was some time ago since we met up and to my great suprise, all of us are still so GILA when seated together. Reminds me very much of the good ‘ol memories in high school. We were always the noisiest bunch of students in the whole Form and last nite just prove that we will always be noisy if put together.

Anyway, photos are not ready yet so i will copy those available from Shu Ying.

Congratulations to KEET WAN & FAMILY.. Joy and Laughter waits ahead!!
