Ever since I started working, my trips back hometown reduced tremendously. I wonder why.. And the trips are made more difficult because my parents sayang me so much. Every time I planned to drive home, they would say ‘Aiyo, no need to come back la. Very tiring, we will visit you instead.’

So during the last holidays (better not mention which holiday), I made a short trip back home (thats a year after my last trip) The small town has changed so much (which doesn’t bother me cos i prefer my other hometown better haha) I always like TI because of the people I’ve met and the food that I can get there. So no big Hoo Haa of  what is new and what is not. Sorry no photos, I was really only back home and nowhere else… :)

Since I’m already on a break, might as well be back in Cameron as well rite? Thats what I did. I’ve been ‘requested’ to plan a trip to bring people around my hometown. So there goes a very last minute thing where there were supposed to be ‘a lot’ of people but ended up only 8 of us.

I didn’t know what did the rest expect out of the small township up in the highlands but for me its always relaxing to be back and the nice weather makes me move slower than i normally do. After 14 years of growing up in that place, i do not know what is the specialty or where is the best food except SteamBoat. (which we had for two consecutive nites) Barbecue was out of the topic due to the lack of raw ingredient (sorry, we do not have cold storage ok and it was during some festive season.)

Apart from the nite market and the 24 hours mamak, where else to go?? and what else to do??

We stayed home and gamble…

They made their way up to the tea plantation on the second day which i skipped due to bad tummy day. So no photos from that.  And later that day we repeated the same activities.. Steamboat dinner (a better place this time), nite market for some sweet corns and head home to gamble summore.

Its only for a short 3days 2 nights trip and we head back to the concrete jungle. The nice weather and near to nature feeling is revealing the adventurous side of this city people. We stopped by the waterfall, one that i stop visiting after people start polluting many years ago and one that i’ve been passing everytime I traveled on that route.
