Sun is not a good day for work. When the rest of the people sleep in for the weekend, here i am sitting in front of my laptop typing out this post in the OFFICE.. Sad rite. Its not my choice to be in on SUN but duty calls..
The marketing department seriously have to do something about their marketing strategies. Its KDU OPEN DAY but its really quite around college. Initially this Open Day thingy is only for Penang campus but somehow we got involved too…..
Anyway its time to chao.. More updates on Ms. Gan’s Retirement party soon.. Hang on there!!!
The handsome, cute, nice and knowledgeable IT master is now not so handsome, cute , nice and helpful anymore now.. I’m supposed to be typing from my LAPTOP not this.. *teary eyes* Why? WHY ME??
COMPLICATIONS??? WHY?? Why cant they just release the thing. ?? I went for the stupid training, which is the stupidest training ever and now they still say they need to check my training status..

ITs bad enough that i can’t ‘curi tulang’ at work to do photo editing and update my blog. Can anyone make me feel better by telling me ‘hey, we are using windows 2000 also so dont get too stressed up with it’ ..I’m so used to XP, its killing me to use this.. more than SEVEN months with this thing, I thought it was the end now but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO… its still here… WHY LA??
So now with the bigger classes, I still have to manage my way thru with white board drawings and paper notes for their reference jus because I don’t have my laptop for the slides presentation that is done ages ago and the ‘general’ laptop was kept at home by my colleague for more than 2 months for whatever reasons we can’t identify. *geramnessss*

Now I think I’m gonna have to stick with this ‘monster’ for what seems to be FOREVER la.. Lets hope we live happily ever after together..

Hopefully this will be my last entry using this ‘monster’. In less than an hour time, the handsome, cute, nice and super knowledgable IT master will come with my NEW laptop and take this old MONSTER away. Lets hope the NEW laptop is really NEW ya..

Why legend? Only her students will understand and will agree with me. How old is KDU’s Hotel?? Ask Ms. Gan. She was here since the first day this school started. So happen her official last day is also her BIRTHDAY..
For about 20 years of teaching in this college, she has already ‘adopted’ a lot of sons and daughters. I being one of her favorite was never scolded by her before, ever, serious!! It was good to be her student (unless she really don’t like you) it also felt good to be her colleague since i joined this college. Always welcomed and never fail to help or guide me when I need it. Thank you sincerely!! This lady has really influenced me somehow in my short journey in life.
We have created our own small lil family in the Office. Ms. Gan of course the MOTHER, and with a few of us kids, the naughty ones. WE were all her students when we were studying. WE all know her almost in and out. WE know she only wants the best for us, ALWAYS!!
So to show her our token of appreciation on this special day, we sent out people to Secret Recipe to get her a Chocolate Banana Indulgence which happened to be her favorite. Had a simple celebration in the office.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA GAN!!!!
Everything happened for a reason. So many happenings in the past few months that somehow made me realised i’ve missed out a certain few things in life. Work as always there are no ending to it, which gave me a reason for delaying or ignoring this blog. Felt so lost for some time. Trying to stand on my own but there are so many challenges and obstacles. Trying to stay sane and tell myself its ok to come to this stage but something inside is reluctant to let go. Held up everything inside as i find noone to share. (Esther: wo bis du?? Ern: ich so viel du vermissen)
After months of trying, i guess its time to finally forgive and forget. Its a brand new day, lets hope for only the best to happen now. Praying hard with fingers crossed!!
In the mean time, still waiting patiently for the laptop to reach me. hopefully not too long from now.
Work is getting on pretty well, with more work responsibilities and challenges, I LIKE IT!!! New semester just started with more than 60 under my care over night. Lets hope this bunch of ‘monkeys’ save me from all the headaches throughout their stay here. Lotsa event lined up for the next months, and calling all alumni again, reminder plz be in KDU Sq on the 27th 6.30pm.
