On our last day in Venice, we had the whole day to ourself and we had a lil too much time to kill..So we went for lunch and tried to use up a bit of our hours..(mind u, our train will only depart late at nite)

Last destination on my Italy trip was to Venice.. Well after Rome and Pisa, we considered Venice as the nicest of all.. At least its not as dirty as in the places before.. Venice is a small island and instead of roads they have canals..Its interesting to experience to travel everywhere by boat but after a few boat rides we dont find it so fun anymore.. We got sleepy on the boats. ferries or whatever we took cos of the floating feeling..After getting off the boat we will still hav the floating feeling.. made us felt dizzy..

The Comfy bed for two nites.. remind me of my previous rented room in Luzern..This is a great wee hotel, the rooms are small but they are clean and the location is wonderful. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and a laundrette within walking distance,and a very short walk to the vaporetto stop. Link

Venturing into Venice city…no idea where we were heading cos the city map was not really accurate.. jus walk walk walk n walk…

If you feel like doing the canals the touristy way, you can hire a gondola for 50 minutes for the price of €60,-. Prices go up after sunset and make sure you confirm the price before sitting back and watching the gondoliere do all the work for you. A little bargaining might help. (p/s its better if there were guys n board cos most of the Gondolieres are quite ‘hum sup’… beware gurls out there…)

Went to the Pigeon Square…This is the only pic with the pigeon on my hand.. i was so scared i threw all the nuts away when they flew near me.. Esther was much braver in this…

Nite time in Venice is also pretty cool.. but didnt hav a tripod with me..most of the pictures taken were blurred.. Scheiße…!!

All the stalls are light up..everything jus look so nice.. tempting..but no more cash… cant do nth bout it..

Ok here are some photos from the second day of my Italy Trip…

I noticed that hotels in Italy requires their guest to check-out pretty early.. 10am..or 11am..theres this notice in the room–> ‘Rooms Must Be Vacant Before 11am On The Day of Departure. Failing To Do So, Management Will Automatically CHARGE According To The Daily Room Rates…’So as budget travellers we dont want to end up paying for an extra day eh…
Our train scheduled to Firenze is at 11.30am but it was not even 10am when we got to the main station, Roma Termini. Tried to changed our ticket so we could leave an hour earlier but its jus not our day..The ticket counters were pretty busy. so, what shall we do now?? Lepak in McDonalds for the next one and a half hour..

In front of the stinky Roma Termini..really smelt like some public toilets in Malaysia.

(i must say that all the trains in Italy are never on time, reminds me of Malaysia again) Our train departed later and best of all the info of platform are wrong on the notice boards.. Phew.. luckily we noticed that n got our way to Firenze..

Was a rush rush trip in Florence cos we were to catch the evening train to Venice.. so we were really running around like mad so we wont be late..

After a blur blur bus ride, finally reached Pisa Tower…(as my lanci esther said, ‘Lanci get to see the second monument of 7 Wonders of the world’) but it was really very impressive..

Met some Korean along the way. Had communications problem with them as they dont speak English.(wonder how they manage to tour Europe??)

Weather was really good, but same thing again, cant get nice picture cos the buildings was all in white.. super glaring..we waited for the clouds to come to rescue and they did hehe..

yup, thats the leaning tower alright..(hmm anyone remember the leaning tower in my hometown??how come its not as famous as Pisa tower? thats the second leaning tower after Pisa..hmmmm reminds me very much of my lovely hometown, Teluk Intan..)

Info about how Pisa was build and hows the management keeping the place in tip top condition.. we didnt get to enter the tower cos it was quite pack and to get a ticket we hav to walk all the way across the field to the ticketing office.. omg..no time la…wth cant we jus sneak in?? ewwww this is jus so……tut..
