I’m back.. it was a long journey back compared to the journey to Freiburg.. missed the train.. got down at the wrong station..but i got back only abit later than expected…

Freiburg is a very nice place.. Not very scenic but the architecturel are different from those in where i’m staying..I presumed that this place is not a tourist destination…because i cant even find one souvenir shop. The only thing that i can get that resemble Freiburg is the POSTCARDS… The rest of the things that they sell there can be found anywhere..

The train that will be taking me there.. This is the fast train and i hav to pay extra for this.. but this is way more comfortable than those EC train or the double deck IR train..

This was the hotel that i’m staying in.. 35Euro for a night was pretty reasonable looking at the services provided.. Very nice rooms and friendly staff.. Free internet 24/7, good breakfast.. ‘what da ya expect more for this kinda price??’

My first day was jus walking aimlessly around the place waiting for my friend to finish work.. was not taking alot of photos just plain walking walking and checking out the
place..

This is the famous Cathedral,Munster in the middle of the town..but its under renovation so cant get in.. pity.. i bet it has nice ambience inside..

Went bk to the hotel and waited till my friend came back and then went for dinner..it was about 10plus when i had the first meal of the day..

This is what i had for dinner.. Spagetti Bolognese..food is so cheap and bigger portion in Germany..This plate only costed 3Euros?? Imagine working there and paying 3Euros for a meal??(no currency issues okai.. imagine its a one to one convertion) Cant help but to compare..even a plate of ‘Char Kuey Teow’ in the roadside stall will cost more than RM3..and this is from a bar restaurant.. phew..

(hmm i’m getting late for my outing tonite.. shall continue when i;m bk on monday..with all the photos mayb)

hmm..leaving for Freiburg at 4pm later.. the train ticket costed only 71CHF for both ways..its a last minute trip but hope i’ll will enjoy .. well should start packing my things…(abit blank now.. dunno what should i post.. have a few pending post but it will hav to wait till i’m back…)

so just wait till i’m bk for more photos and updates… hehe… chaoss

Today 24th of April.. its my dads birthday.. n also the day my lil bro first day in college..and best of all its my first day of the two weeks holiday i get from work…awww that feels so nice to be out of that place… noone nagging 24/7…’do this.. do that.. clean this.. clean that.. n this way n that way..’

oh btw, i havent post any photos of the new improved place that i’m working at.. after the renovation, business are way better than before.. so i assume ppl like the new look better.. hmm  should post smth like the ‘before & after’ kinda photos rite??but too bad i havent been using my camera so much in that place.. that will have to wait for sometime i guess.. hehe

heres the lunch buffet..  16.50CHF per person/per plate..considered cheap for what you can get around luzern old town..

thats all the choice… all for 16.50CHF.. not all u can eat but like ‘chap fan’ style in malaysia…the different selections available are Green Chicken, Red Curry Fish, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Sezhuan Chicken or Beef.. Mix Vegetables.. (daily) the menu comes with daily soup and dessert…

This is the daily thing i have to do,, set up.. clear tables..set up again..it goes over and over again everyday..but its nice when you meet different ppl everyday.. or get to know a regular customer.. the satisfying feeling when u know how exactly to treat each customer that walks in.. hehhe

Ever seen settings with spoon then red wine glasses?? hmm we have it in my work place.. its funny i know.. but what can i do when the ‘lady boss’ said ‘its asian restaurant so put spoon instead of knifes…’ duh.. we r in EUROPE..i’m not sure if she noticed that..

Next will b the ‘Vinotec’ we have in our RECEPTION cum BAR..this is one funny, weird and messed up place that i’m working in.. phew its only for my training.. imagine if i have to stay and work for like 5 years?? eewww.. i’ll go crazy by the time i get bk Malaysia..

We have all kind of Red wines and White wines.. i like the Italian red wine the best…

White Wine anyone?? La Banderolle is our restaurant best selling white wine so far.. but i prefer Fendant..not that dry…

oh ya.. a bar should have all this rite?? hmm all this bottles of alchohol is on the shelf in the reception.. i actually thought its some kinda decorations for the reception.. but my boss is for real when he said ‘this is the bar.. guest can check in and check out and also hav a drink.. ‘ well its his place.. he can do it however he likes it.. but its jus not relavant from the way i see it…whatever..

ANYWAY.. this place is none of my business for the nex 13 days.. yeahhhhhhh.. planning for a trip to Freiburg, Germany this weekend.. and Italy next week.. (i’m gonna be so poor after that… hehhe)

Ever imagine what people can do when they are bored?? hmm *wonders*

Three of us (me, Eba & Edu) were kind enough to go all the way to Zurich and wait for esther after her work..Planned to go for kareoke session in Raffles Bar…And the waiting kinda dragged longer than it should be because Esther didnt went back to her room straight after work but instead…she went onlining…huh…Heres what the three of us did when we were bored of sitting and waiting in front of Esther’s room…

We will just wait here…She will be back very soon…

Getting sleepy now..We are still waiting…Esther where are you??

Oh she is still not back yet…We’ll just lay around for awhile..

Started sticking on the wall…and still she is not back yet..

Later that nite, we realised a couple of cocktails wont do us any harm after going up the walls and doors, this will just put us to sleep…

Well since esther left us and went to Paris with Sheauwen, we still hav to enjoy our offdays rite?? We will tell her how much fun we had okaii son??

On the 10th of April, which is the exact date of Eba’s b’day, i promised him we would celebrate but no idea exactly how.. we ended up lazing around in my room half day and then.. Edu called up.. then we decided to go for dinner in Far East in Zug..

Remembering the first time i was there was begining of last year… when Vuinee & Ivan was still working there.. Impression on that place.. good food, expensive and average service…but this time.. things are a bit different..Went thru the menu and found out they actually offer reasonable price (mayb last year i still had the currency exchange issues) Food was so so..but the fried squid with garlic sauce was yummy…

We each ordered different dishes that comes with rice.. Edu ordered the Deep Fried Squid with Garlic Sauce.. yummm..

Eba ordered the Thai Red/Green Curry.. i dont understand whats with Swiss ppl and Thai Curries.. They seems to like it alot..Red Curry, Green Curry..Yellow Curry.. you name it they’ll know about it..

and i ordered the Thai style Fried Beef that was supposed to be a lil spicy & sour.. but it tasted like ‘Kong Pou Beef’..still tasted better than the curry though…

We ordered SATAY too as starters and the ‘kuah kacang’ is quite nice..Edu said we can make that one day…hmm wonder when..

Wana have a bite of the Satay?? Yummy…

Eba jus cant wait to get goin with the food.. waiting patiently for me to finish with the food snapping session.. hehe

hmm while waiting for the check, i was just snapping at everything that looks nice.. and i think this is pretty nice..the sauces dish they kept on the tables..

so much for dinner time in Far East…So thats it for the day Eba turned into a full GROWN UP…
