Woohoo… Its my third day back in the beautiful town and it felt like I’m back home. Felt so good to be back and to top that up, ITS CRAZEEE SALEEES time. So many things, so much discount but so little $$. I havent start growing money tree on my balcony. LOL

Hmm a little update about my current place. Checked into a single room with lake view top floor ‘what more can i ask for’ Fully equipped apartment with two bathroom. Cool housemates so far. 3 rooms still unoccupied. Big spacious common area with boxes and boxes of my housemates stuff.. Looks like 8 person’s stuff but in fact its only for ONE. I dunno how to start clearing or where to start. Eventually it will dissapear when PA marks starts running haha.. As off now, internet connection is not sucky. FB the utmost important daily duty.

Went off shopping for some NECESSITY for the room and myself and ended up with some shower gel, some food, 3 bags and 2 pairs of shoes. Kill me already. Its only how many days again?? Gosh I’m officially starting to hate going to town or walking thru old town or even the train station. Shessh..

Activated my sim, which was given to me by a kind cutie pie. Topped up and found out it cost 1CHF for 5 minutes call bk home and 0.09CHF for calls to the same network. Hmm quite cool rite. Wanted to try out the rates but noonw back home picked up my calls.

Met some cool people and went to the airport the second day of my arrival to send off a friend. Crazy isn’t it? Lend my SDcard to the friend so i have no pictures of the day to upload and show off here. She will be bk in a month and hoping the photos will appear in FB before that.

Thinks Swiss regulations are bias cos they say i’m OLD!! and starting to hate the number already. Found out few hours ago, my room number is the number i hate. Application for ‘young independent traveller’s card’ rejected.. *hate hate hate*

Making plans to meet old friends and still in search for MARCEL AKMAL.lost his contact number together with my old phone and he would hate me if i came back and didnt call. Anyone with his mobile num please let me know.

Dont know what i’m posting up now cos everything is so random and i’m still very excited to be back. Can’t believe next monday i have to be back in school.. Felt young again.

Till the pictures arrive. Tchuss!!!

Ok Bai

After a long week of stress and sweat, its time to sit back and relax. I have cryst’s photos pending and my trip photos pending but I just wana have a weekend with nothing to do and just relax.

The past week was havoc! Had our annual event and gosh the mess I tell you. Now i know why my teachers hated canteen days in my high school years. :) There were about 25 booths set up for competition last Thursday. They whipped up their own menus and god only knows how did they managed to prepare everything. (gosh I dont wana touch on the preparation methods they used… eeiiiww) From Monday, there were alot of things to finalized and reconfirm and re reconfirm again over and over again. Space for last minute changes were always there. And managing this whole thing with the help of 6 people was really hectic. *thank god its over*

Wed was prep day and every individual class came in to set up their booth, preparing for war on the next day. Tables all arranged properly for all but these people are so competitive and everyone wanted the best location and best customer feng shui, they changed here and there the direction and initial set up. One blocking another, what will happen?? Need i say more?? So I had to run around like a headless chicken settling all this issues. My own class was left unsupervised and others took advantage of this and at the end of the day, my class was pushed to a corner where noone can see us… Like that how to win best sales man???? sheshhhh….

Wednesday nite, four of my girls stayed over to do some prep. Slept for less than 2 hours and was at college by 6.15am on Thursday morning.

Had a tiring day but really enjoyable one too.. The happiest moment was to see more than half of my students working together, breaking walls and barriers to reach the same objective. Saw some really quiet ones taking charge of things and making sure everything was sailing smoothly. And saw my class rep goin crazy was also funny..

I guess now its the post food fest sympton, must rest and recuperate. Now let me go finish my novel then i should be all geared up for the next 6 weeks..hehe

Ok bai!!

I was supposed to attend Din and Sabrina’s wedding at Komplex Tabung Haji (i had no idea where is it actually) And of all people, Din forgot to pass me the invitation card that states the time venue and etc…

The last time i heard, a whole list of people would be attending. I was not sure of the time and being the first malay wedding that i’m attending i had no idea what was the custom like. Sheesshhh…. I called Din a day before and he told me to get there 2 something. Of course i took my own sweet time and got out of shower bout 1.50pm and saw 4 missed calls from David. CAlled back and was told ‘they’ were all there waiting for me. ‘They’ are Jee, David and REza. So i quickly got dressed and groomed and left my place.

Got lost along the way, called David for navigation. After some turning left, turning right and left again, i finally reached the place. Very quiet surounding makes me wondered if i was at the right place. Got out of the car, phone rang and it was Jee. They thought i was not coming and left already… OMG….

They told me to go in and look for Jonathan which i did. drop my gift at the reception and went in. Once i walked in, a room full of strangers, i saw Jon. And the handsome groom and his beautiful bride. Went over shake hands, hugs, congratulate and short chit chat. Next thing i knew, Jon also leaving. So instead of sitting down for a meal alone, i went over and hug hug. salam salam then bid farewell to Din. And he asked me to ‘tapao’ summore… Funny..

So that was it my Sunday afternoon wedding… so short and simple and somehow funny….Something that cheered me up a little….:)

Just got back from my short holiday/break away from the busy city life. Things are pilling up higher than my head again and its not something that i’ve looked forward for. A lot has been happening around, slightly too much at once. I realise when things turn sour, i dont know where to turn to. Its easy how people say they are there to support but really cant do much. Its dissapointing to face the facts but somehow reality is always cold and harsh. *Gosh i sound like i’m goin to commit suicide or something.*

Lets assume its PMS…… Wana get over it ASAP.  Just felt the cold night is not fun.

*wake me up when july comes*

OH ya…despite the emo day, HAppy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there…. I love my mom!!! :)

Ok this shall be the last post of my free China trip. Last stop was in GuangZhou where we spent 2 nites and the hotel wasn’t anything near comparing to the first hotel we stayed in Macau. The whole GuangZhou, China thing is already creating a very big impact on perception on the group of students I was bringing. It couldn’t help to change this negative perception as everything we went through was not total disastrous but again in comparison to Macau.

Before I leave for this trip, my mom kept on telling me there are a lot to shop in Guang Zhou. (my uncle used to work there), and can get even roti canai because there are demand for Malaysian food. But when I was there, ‘tak perasan’ also. And toilets are still the same, I shouldn’t comment cos its known to all.

img_0364

When everyone was busy shopping, we took photos around of the lightings and the crowded street.

First night only the Street No.9 walking around, we head back to the hotel. Checheck in, shower and lepak in the girls room. The next morning, we were allowed to sleep in later (till 7am) and after breakfast we depart at 8am for our city tour. Destination was not the highlight. Went to some memorial, park and then more SHOPPING in Beijing Street (yeah we were in GuangZhou but we get Beijing too)

So pictures were more entertaining so lets proceed.

Guess where is that???

Dr. Sun YatSen Memorial

img_0389

Then we went to the famous ‘five goat hill’. Why and how they named it like that, go google it :)

img_0397

(whatever that is written on the hill was supposed to be the name of the place I guess) We spent some time in the park letting the students experience the local cultural. Every morning and evening or in fact whenever they are free, (the locals older generation) they will hang out in the park and ‘exercise’ while socializing.

The students are typical city boys and girls, never experience any of this before and wanted to challenge the local crowd. I prayed hard they don’t malu-fy themselvesand true enough after a few rounds of practice among themselves, they gave up. Should have seen how flexible those ‘uncles’ and ‘aunties’ with that ‘bulu tangkis’.

img_0410

The maybe correct way, at least they can pass it around to three people before it went into the bush or hit another crowd.

Next will be the WRONG way…

img_0413

The stylo-mylo but never got the tangkis style.

img_0412

The I close my eyes and turn to the back so i can imagine better style.
img_0416

The ‘who said high heels cannot do sports’ style.

And many more styles they have created that i have no idea how to explain. some treat the tangkis as football, some as tennis ball so people just imagine how much sweat and what is the smell of the bus once we got back on the bus.

Later we were brought to the ‘Tan Library’. So they said it was build by the Tan families that were in GuangZhou to let they children have a place to study. Every Tan family contributed in the fund raising and some in construction to build this library and their kids can utilized the facilities.

What do you expect from the library? Books rite? but i found none and only an old structure with a lot of history behind it. After like two minutes walking around we went a lil restless.

img_0432

And this gurl just did that and ask us to snap a photo.

img_0445

Then two wanted to take a ‘jumping’ shot

img_0459

Then i wanted to jump into the pond with the gold fish.

img_0464

Then one was just posing with whatever she can see.

img_0463

Then we went around and find interesting stuff to make pictures look not so boring.

img_0439

Went to the garden and took group photo.

img_0443

and Check out my part time boyfriend.. OMG so ‘hiao’ to the max..

The rest of the day was not too picture productive. Went for the river cruise and one girl got so sick i had to skip the discussion session and went back to the hotel with her. Missed out the birthday batch celebration after the discussion and got a good rest for the next day’s journey back home.

Early morning check out and here i am, back in where i’m supposed to be safely.

p/s:Oh ya, Burberry in the airport was cheaper and i almost got the handbag but should i say ‘luckily’ or too bad i was in a hurry to catch the flight..Bye Bye Burberry..Anyone going to GuangZhou?
